Sierra Interactive Pricing (2026): Every Plan, Add-On and Contract Term

Oct 21, 2026
Real estate agent at a home office desk comparing Sierra Interactive pricing on a laptop, with a printed contract and a calculator beside him

Sierra Interactive costs $299.95 a month for one user on its Starter plan, if you pay for the year upfront. Paid monthly, the same plan is $359.95 a month plus a one-time $500 setup fee.

The Essential plan is $399.95 a month for 3 users, and Growth is $599.95 a month for 5 users, both on yearly billing. Every plan sits on a 12-month agreement, whichever way you pay.

Unlike many lead platforms, Sierra publishes its prices. The real bill depends on add-ons: extra users, the dialer on Starter, extra MLS feeds, its AI texting tool and ad management.

This guide covers every published price, what each plan includes, the contract terms and how Sierra compares. I read Sierra's pricing page, help center and terms of service on 21 October 2026.

Where I stand: I am a Realtor with Samson Properties in Virginia, and I run Jamil Academy, which sells training to agents. This is not a hands-on test: it is built from Sierra's own pages and terms, plus public sources. The one product block near the end is my own.

Quick answer

  • Starter: $299.95 a month paid yearly, or $359.95 paid monthly. 1 user.
  • Essential: $399.95 or $474.95. 3 users.
  • Growth: $599.95 or $724.95. 5 users.
  • Setup fee: $0 if you prepay the year, $500 if you pay monthly. Both are 12-month agreements.
  • Year one, base plan: $3,599.40 for Starter paid yearly, or $4,819.40 paid monthly with setup.
  • Terms: auto-renews, and its terms of service say paid fees are non-refundable.

How much does Sierra Interactive cost in 2026?

Short answer: $299.95 to $599.95 a month on yearly billing, or $359.95 to $724.95 paid monthly. That buys the website, IDX search and CRM, before add-ons.

Plan Paid yearly (per month) Paid monthly Users included Onboarding
Starter $299.95 $359.95 1 30 days
Essential $399.95 $474.95 3 60 days
Growth $599.95 $724.95 5 90 days, plus 2 extra training hours

Source: sierrainteractive.com/pricing, read 21 October 2026. Prices before tax.

Grouped bar chart of Sierra Interactive year-one base plan cost: Starter $3,599 paid yearly versus $4,819 paid monthly with the setup fee, Essential $4,799 versus $6,199, and Growth $7,199 versus $9,199.
Year one on each plan. Monthly billing adds the $500 setup fee.

What year one really costs

On the base plan alone, year one is $3,599.40 for Starter paid upfront. Paid monthly, it is $4,319.40 in payments plus the $500 setup fee, or $4,819.40.

So paying monthly costs $1,220 more in year one on Starter. On Growth the gap is $2,000.

Watch for old prices online

Several review sites still quote an older "Core" package at $499.95 a month for 5 users. Sierra's pricing page no longer lists that price, though its implementation page still uses the Core name. Use the three current plans when you compare.

My view: Sierra is not cheap, but it is clear. A published price is worth something when most lead platforms make you sit through a sales call first.

What do the Starter, Essential and Growth plans include?

Short answer: all three include an IDX website, the CRM and one MLS feed. Higher plans add users, the dialer, more sites and longer onboarding.

Feature Starter Essential Growth
Users included 1 3 5
MLS feeds included 1 1 1
Dialer $100 a month add-on Included Included
Lead Engage (AI texting) Not available $199 a month $199 a month
Website pages Extra pages $25 per 100 Unlimited Unlimited
Premium designs $100 to $150 a month $100 to $150 a month Included (see note)
Group texting and agent leaderboard No No Yes
Onboarding 30 days 60 days 90 days, plus 2 training hours

Source: sierrainteractive.com/pricing, read 21 October 2026.

Website designs

Starter and Essential include the Ace and Pro designs. Pinnacle or Exec costs $100 a month and Luxury costs $150 a month on those plans.

Growth includes the upgraded designs. The pricing page's FAQ says Growth includes all five, but one of its tables lists only Pinnacle and Exec. Ask Sierra to confirm Luxury in writing.

Which plan fits which business

  • Starter: a solo agent who wants a strong IDX website and CRM, and can live without AI texting.
  • Essential: a small team of 2 to 3, or a solo agent who wants the dialer included.
  • Growth: a team of 5 or more that wants group texting, a leaderboard and the longest onboarding.

My view: on yearly billing, Starter plus the $100 dialer is $399.95 a month, the same as Essential, which also includes two more users. Price both before you choose.

Should you pay Sierra yearly or monthly?

Short answer: yearly, if you can afford it. It is the same 12-month agreement either way, so monthly billing only spreads the cost and adds a fee.

Sierra's pricing page says: "Both options are the same 12-month agreement." Paying the full year upfront "lowers the effective monthly rate and waives the setup fee."

Plan Year one, paid yearly Year one, paid monthly Extra cost of monthly
Starter $3,599.40 $4,819.40 $1,220.00
Essential $4,799.40 $6,199.40 $1,400.00
Growth $7,199.40 $9,199.40 $2,000.00

My arithmetic from sierrainteractive.com/pricing, read 21 October 2026. Monthly includes the $500 setup fee.

Monthly billing is not month-to-month. You still commit to 12 months, so it helps your cash flow, not your flexibility.

My view: prepay only once you have seen a demo and checked your MLS feed works. A year paid upfront is a big bet on a tool you have not used.

How much do extra users cost on Sierra?

Short answer: $75 a user on Starter, and much less on the larger plans. The per-user price drops in steps as the team grows.

Plan Users included Extra users
Starter 1 $75 per user a month
Essential 3 $60 each for users 4 to 10, then $25 each from 11
Growth 5 $20 each for users 6 to 10, $10 each for 11 to 49, $5 each from 50

Source: sierrainteractive.com/pricing, read 21 October 2026.

Horizontal bar chart of Sierra Interactive monthly cost per user on yearly billing: Starter $299.95 for 1 user, Essential $133.32 each for 3 users, Growth $119.99 each for 5 users and Growth with 10 users $70.00 each.
Cost per user on yearly billing. My arithmetic from published prices.

A worked example: a team of 6

On Essential, 3 extra users at $60 each make $579.95 a month on yearly billing. On Growth, 1 extra user at $20 makes $619.95 a month.

For $40 more a month, Growth adds group texting, the leaderboard and 90-day onboarding. That is the kind of step to price before you sign.

My view: Starter is priced for one person. If a second agent will log in, compare Essential before paying $75 for the extra seat.

Which Sierra add-ons cost extra?

Short answer: the dialer on Starter, AI texting, extra MLS feeds, designs and ad management. Some services are quoted only on request.

Add-on Price Notes
Dialer $100 a month on Starter Included on Essential and Growth
Lead Engage (AI texting) $199 a month Essential and Growth only. The help center says it has a 12-month commitment
Extra MLS feed $25 a month each One feed is included
Premium website design $100 or $150 a month Included on Growth
Agent Site Manager $50 a month Agent subdomains
Seller lead sites, single property sites, extra pages $25 a month per site, or per 100 extra pages, on Starter Higher plans include more
Google ads management 10% of ad spend Minimum ad spend $500 a month
Facebook ads management Lite $75 a month plus $125 setup; Full $200 a month Lite includes up to 2 campaign types
Content writing and website customization Not published Content writing by support ticket; customization billed hourly, rate not published
Template change after your first choice $250 Per Sierra's onboarding terms

Sources: sierrainteractive.com/pricing, Sierra help center articles on Lead Engage and its glossary, and Sierra's implementation and setup services page, read 21 October 2026.

Bar chart of a solo agent's first year on Sierra's Starter plan paid yearly: $3,599 for the plan alone, $4,799 with the dialer, $5,099 with an extra MLS feed and $11,699 with $500 a month of Google ads plus the 10% fee.
Example add-ons, not a quote. Each bar adds one item.

Lead Engage, Sierra's AI texting

Sierra's help center describes Lead Engage as an AI assistant that "nurtures leads through two-way text conversations for up to 12 months." Once a lead replies, your agents take over.

It costs $199 a month with unlimited leads, and "Lead Engage bills by segment, not by message." Ask how those segments count against your dialer allowance.

My view: add-ons are where the bill grows. Write down the ones you will really use before the demo, and ask for a quote with exactly those.

What do Sierra's dialer and texting limits include?

Short answer: a monthly allowance of texts, calls and voicemails. Growth gets about ten times the texts of the other plans.

Monthly allowance Starter (with dialer) Essential Growth
SMS segments 1,500 1,500 15,000
MMS segments 100 100 1,000
Voice minutes 1,500 1,500 5,000
Ringless voicemails 250 250 500
Call recording storage (minutes) 10,000 10,000 35,000

Source: sierrainteractive.com/pricing, read 21 October 2026.

Overages are not published

Sierra's dialer overview in its help center tells you to track usage "to avoid overages," but I found no published overage rate. Ask for the rate per text and per minute before you sign.

Group texting is for Growth only, with up to 10 numbers including your own. The help center says each recipient counts as one MMS, so a text to 5 people bills as 5 messages.

Texting needs carrier registration

Sierra's text service update page says all businesses need approved business profiles and campaigns to keep texting, under the A2P 10DLC standard. Its onboarding terms say approval "typically takes 4 to 6 weeks."

I found no published fee for that registration, or who pays it. Ask on the demo.

My view: 1,500 texts a month sounds like a lot until a drip campaign runs. Estimate your real volume from your current CRM before you pick a plan.

How much does Sierra charge to run your ads?

Short answer: 10% of your Google ad spend, with a $500 monthly minimum, or a flat fee for Facebook. The ad spend itself is on top.

Service Management fee Ad spend and setup
Google ads 10% of ad spend a month Minimum $500 a month spend; $0 setup
Facebook Lite Pack $75 a month $125 setup; $250 a month ad spend; up to 2 campaign types
Facebook Full Pack $200 a month $0 setup; unlimited ad spend; all campaign types

Source: sierrainteractive.com/pricing, read 21 October 2026.

At the $500 minimum, Google ads cost $550 a month with the fee, or $6,600 a year.

What a search ad lead costs

LocaliQ, a digital marketing company that sells ad services, published real estate search ad benchmarks from 894 US campaigns between April 2025 and March 2026. The median cost per lead was $102.51 across real estate, and $157.59 for residential agents.

At those rates, $500 a month buys roughly 3 to 5 leads, before Sierra's fee. That is a benchmark, not a promise for your market.

For whether an IDX site produces leads on its own, without ads, see my guide to whether IDX websites generate leads.

My view: ads through your own IDX site build an asset you keep using. But budget at least 6 months before you judge results.

What will Sierra cost you? Try the calculator

Short answer: from $3,599.40 in year one for a solo agent paying yearly, to well over $10,000 with ads. Enter your plan, users and add-ons to see yours.

The calculator uses Sierra's published prices from 21 October 2026. Ad spend is shown on its own line, because it goes to Google or Facebook, not to Sierra. The year one total includes it.

Calculating

Published list prices, before tax. Add-ons are treated as monthly charges in both billing modes. On Growth, premium designs count as included. Overages, content services and texting registration are not included because Sierra does not publish them. Lite Pack ad spend uses the $250 a month listed on the pricing page.

How the calculator counts

  • Plan: the yearly or monthly rate times 12, plus the $500 setup fee on monthly billing.
  • Users: extra users at each plan's published rates, in the steps shown above.
  • Ads: Google at 10% of spend with the $500 minimum, or Facebook's flat pack fees, with ad spend shown separately.
  • Per user: the plan and extra-user cost divided by total users, before other add-ons.

My view: run it twice, once for today's team and once for the team you plan to have in a year. The contract lasts 12 months either way.

What does Sierra's contract say about cancelling and refunds?

Short answer: the plan is a 12-month agreement that renews automatically, and Sierra's terms say paid fees are non-refundable. The details are in your signed agreement.

Sierra's terms of service, which say they were last updated on 2 March 2026, cover the basics:

Term What Sierra's terms of service say
Renewal Your subscription "will automatically renew under the exact same conditions unless you cancel it"
How to cancel Contact Sierra's billing team. Notice can go by email to its billing address
Notice period Not stated in the terms. Cancellation is "subject to the contract term and provisions of your signed agreement"
Refunds "paid Subscription fees are non-refundable", with no refunds for setup fees or partial months
Price changes Sierra may change fees, with "reasonable prior notice"
Your content "You retain any and all of your rights to any Content you submit, post or display"
Consent You warrant you have "secured express consent where necessary" for your messages
Law Kentucky

Source: Sierra Interactive terms of service, sierrainteractive.com/terms-of-service, read 21 October 2026.

What to ask for in writing

  • The cancellation notice period before renewal.
  • Whether there is an early termination fee.
  • Who owns your domain, and how you move it if you leave.
  • How you export your contacts, notes and website content, and for how long after you leave.

At least one competitor's review describes Sierra websites as leased rather than owned. The terms do not address domains, so get the answer in your agreement.

My view: the terms are normal for this kind of software. The risk is in what they leave to the signed agreement, so read that line by line.

How long does it take to get set up on Sierra?

Short answer: Sierra targets under 30 days to go live, but texting approval and moving from another platform can take longer.

Sierra's implementation page says: "Our target is to get you live in under 30 days." It describes 60 days of dedicated one-to-one onboarding support.

  • Texting approval: "Brand and Campaign approval from our third-party provider typically takes 4 to 6 weeks."
  • Moving from another platform: "Porting from other platforms typically takes 3 to 5 weeks."
  • Design changes: a $250 template conversion fee applies if you switch templates after your first choice.

Source: Sierra Interactive implementation and setup services page, last updated 5 August 2026, read 21 October 2026.

The pricing page sets onboarding at 30 days for Starter, 60 for Essential and 90 for Growth. The implementation page describes a flat 60 days, so ask which applies to your plan.

My view: start the texting registration on day one. A 4 to 6 week wait eats a big part of your first quarter if you leave it.

How does Sierra compare with other lead and website platforms?

Short answer: Sierra sits in the middle on price and publishes more than most. Check what each platform includes before you compare totals.

Platform Published starting price Users Setup and terms
Sierra Interactive Starter $299.95 a month paid yearly, or $359.95 monthly 1 $500 setup on monthly billing; 12-month agreement
Market Leader Teams $329 a month Up to 10 Not stated
Real Geeks $399 a month 2 $500 setup; 6- or 12-month terms
Lofty Bloom Agent Starter $699 a month (lead generation package) Not stated $200 setup per area; one-year agreement per Lofty's help center
Follow Up Boss Grow (CRM only) $69 per user a month, or $58 on annual billing Per user 14-day trial, no contracts
Wise Agent (CRM only) $49 a month, or $499 a year Up to 5 Month to month
Ylopo, BoldTrail, CINC Not published Varies Demo or sales call

Sources: each vendor's own pricing page or help center, read 21 October 2026. Prices before tax and ad spend.

Sierra and Real Geeks both bundle an IDX website, CRM and lead tools. Follow Up Boss and Wise Agent are CRMs only, so you would pay for a website separately.

I priced 12 systems side by side in what 12 real estate CRMs and platforms cost. For a platform that does not publish a price, see my Ylopo pricing guide.

If the website matters most to you, my guide to real estate website builders compares the site side.

My view: compare year-one totals with the same add-ons on each platform. A low entry price with expensive add-ons can cost more than Sierra.

Which tools connect to Sierra Interactive?

Short answer: the major portals, Follow Up Boss, Zapier and Google and Meta tools. Sierra's own enterprise page says it integrates with "nearly 100 different apps."

  • Lead portals: Zillow and Realtor.com, which has a direct API for its Connections Plus product.
  • CRMs and lead tools: Follow Up Boss (two-way), Ylopo, Fello, Homebot and BombBomb.
  • Ads and tracking: Facebook Lead Ads, Meta Pixel, Google Ads and Google Analytics.
  • Automation: Zapier, API Nation and the Sierra API.

Source: Sierra Interactive third-party integrations guide, dated 15 September 2026, read 21 October 2026.

API Nation is "a paid third-party service separate from your Sierra subscription," according to the guide. Lofty is not on the list.

If you already run Follow Up Boss, Sierra can feed it as your website and lead source. I priced Follow Up Boss seat by seat in my Follow Up Boss review.

My view: list every lead source you pay for today, and ask Sierra to show each one working in the demo account.

What do Sierra Interactive reviews say?

Short answer: there are very few public user reviews. The ones that exist praise the websites and SEO, and complain about cost and support.

Site Rating Reviews Notes
G2 4.7 out of 5 3 No review dates shown on G2
BBB D+ rating, not accredited n/a BBB cites a failure to respond to 1 complaint and the length of time the business has been operating
Capterra, Software Advice, GetApp No listing found n/a A Capterra "Sierra" listing is a different company
Trustpilot Page did not load n/a Not verified

Sources: g2.com, bbb.org and softwarefinder.com, read 21 October 2026.

One reviewer on Software Finder, a review site, wrote that Sierra's websites "load very quickly and are built with Google optimization in mind." The same reviewer said it is "definitely not the most affordable option out there."

Another reviewer complained of glitches with automations that support had not fixed. These are single opinions from a sample of 3.

My view: with this little review data, ask Sierra for two clients in your market and call them. Ask specifically about support response times.

Short answer: you need consent for automated texts and calls, and email must follow CAN-SPAM. Sierra's terms put that duty on you.

Sierra's terms say you warrant that you have "secured express consent where necessary" and that you indemnify Sierra for breaches of consent laws.

AI texting and calling

In February 2024 the FCC ruled that AI-generated voices count as "artificial" voices under the TCPA, so those calls need the called party's prior express consent.

Source: FCC Declaratory Ruling, FCC 24-17.

In January 2025 the 11th Circuit struck down the FCC's "one-to-one" consent rule, and the FCC removed it in a rule published on 29 August 2025. General consent rules still apply.

Sources: Insurance Marketing Coalition v. FCC, 11th Cir., 24 January 2025 and Federal Register, 29 August 2025.

Sierra's help center says Lead Engage's first message includes "required compliance language that cannot be removed." That helps, but it does not replace consent on your forms.

Email

The FTC's CAN-SPAM guide says each violating email can cost up to $53,088. You must honor opt-outs within 10 business days and include a valid physical postal address.

Source: FTC, CAN-SPAM Act: A Compliance Guide for Business.

My view: check the consent wording on every Sierra lead form before you turn on texting or AI. This is general information, not legal advice.

Who owns Sierra Interactive?

Short answer: Alpine Software Group, a portfolio company of the private equity firm Alpine Investors. Sierra joined it in October 2022.

  • Founded: 2007, according to Sierra's About page. Sierra's 2022 announcement names Ben Peskoe as founder, and its history page traces the idea back to 2003.
  • Headquarters: Louisville, Kentucky, with a remote-first team.
  • Ownership: Sierra announced it would join Alpine Software Group on 13 October 2022. Inman reported it as an acquisition; Sierra calls it a partnership.
  • Leadership: Peter Maglathlin became CEO in 2022 and was still quoted as CEO in April 2026.
  • Recognition: a HousingWire Tech100 Real Estate honoree in 2024.

My view: private equity ownership is common in real estate software. It is one more reason to know your renewal terms, since prices can change at renewal.

Who should choose Sierra, and who should skip it?

Short answer, in my view: agents and teams who want a fast IDX website and CRM in one, and can commit for a year.

Sierra can fit if you

  • Want your own search website to rank and capture leads, not only portal leads.
  • Prefer a published price over a sales-call quote.
  • Can commit to 12 months, ideally paid upfront.
  • Run a team of 3 or more, where the per-user cost falls.

Think twice if you

  • Need month-to-month terms.
  • Only need a CRM. A CRM-only tool costs far less.
  • Are in your first year, with no budget for ads to drive traffic to the site.
  • Need support outside weekday business hours. Sierra lists Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm Eastern.

My view: Sierra makes the most sense when the website is a real lead source for you. If it is just a business card, a cheaper site will do.

Is Sierra Interactive worth the price? My view

Short answer: for teams that will use the website, dialer and CRM together, yes. For a solo agent on a tight budget, probably not.

Strengths Weaknesses
Published prices for every plan 12-month agreement, even on monthly billing
IDX website, CRM and dialer in one $500 setup fee unless you prepay
Per-user cost falls fast on larger plans Overage rates and some services are not published
Integrates with Follow Up Boss, Zillow and Realtor.com Very few public user reviews

My view: if you choose Sierra, prepay the year only after a full demo, and get the cancellation notice period and domain ownership in writing first.

What I could not verify

These are the gaps I hit while checking sources. Be careful with any page that fills them with a confident number.

  • Overage rates for texts, minutes and voicemails. Not published.
  • Texting registration fees and who pays them.
  • Cancellation notice period and early termination fees. Left to the signed agreement.
  • Domain ownership and data export after you leave.
  • Enterprise and brokerage pricing, content writing and customization rates.
  • Whether Growth includes the Luxury design. The pricing page's FAQ says yes, but one of its tables leaves it out.
  • Onboarding length. The pricing page says 30, 60 or 90 days by plan; the implementation page says 60.
