Terms of Service

Owner/Operator. This website, courses, communities, and related materials (collectively, the “Services”) are owned and operated by JB RE Group, LLC d/b/a Jamil Academy (“Jamil Academy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Mailing address: 1602 Village Market Blvd SE #255, Leesburg, VA 20175. Contact: [email protected].

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1) Eligibility; Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Services.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity on your account.
  • We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts for any violation of these Terms or misuse of the Services.

2) Educational Use Only — No Professional Advice or Agency

All content is provided for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on the Services constitutes legal, financial, tax, investment, or brokerage advice, nor does it create any professional-client, fiduciary, or agency relationship. You should consult your own qualified professionals before taking action.

Real estate licensing disclosure (informational only). Saad Jamil is a licensed real estate agent in VA, DC, MD, and WV affiliated with Samson Properties. Jamil Academy is an education platform and is not a real estate brokerage. Use of the Services does not create an agency relationship, agreement for representation, or solicitation of buyers/sellers/tenants/landlords. If you seek brokerage services, contact Samson Properties separately and enter a written representation agreement.

3) Earnings & Results Disclaimer

We may share case studies, testimonials, or performance examples. They are illustrative only and not typical. Your results depend on many factors outside our control (market conditions, background, skills, effort, resources, compliance, etc.). We do not guarantee any outcome, income, or result.

4) Purchases, Pricing, Subscriptions, Refunds & Chargebacks

  • Pricing & features. Prices, features, access periods, and any bonuses are shown at checkout and may change prospectively.
  • Refunds. Unless a different guarantee/refund policy is clearly stated on the checkout page for a specific product, all sales are final.
  • Payments. You authorize us and our processors to charge your selected payment method for one-time payments, subscriptions, or installment plans, plus applicable taxes. Missed payments may suspend access until resolved.
  • Chargebacks. You agree not to submit fraudulent or bad-faith chargebacks. We may provide transaction records and communications to the processor to contest chargebacks and may terminate access for payment abuse.
  • Taxes. You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or government charges.

5) Limited License to You

Upon purchase (and subject to payment), we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access the purchased content for your own internal business/personal use during the stated access period. You may not share, resell, redistribute, or make content available to third parties (including posting course files or videos elsewhere).

6) Intellectual Property

All content, text, videos, graphics, logos, trademarks, and software are owned by us or our licensors and protected by IP laws. Except for the limited license above, no rights are granted. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, adapt, create derivative works, republish, upload, post, transmit, sell, or distribute any content without our prior written consent.

7) User Content; Community Conduct

If you submit or post content (e.g., comments, community posts, assignments), you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, display, distribute, publicly perform, and create derivative works from such content for operating, improving, and promoting the Services. You represent you own or have rights to your submissions and that they do not infringe or violate any laws or third-party rights.

Prohibited uses include: unlawful activity; harassment or hate; defamation; spamming; scraping; reverse engineering; uploading malware; sharing others’ confidential information or personal data; impersonation; or attempting to bypass technical controls. We may remove content or suspend access for violations.

Likeness consent. If you appear on live calls or submit audio/video, you consent to our recording, editing, and use of such recordings for educational and promotional purposes without additional compensation, subject to any opt-out tools we provide.

8) Third-Party Platforms, Tools, Links & Affiliates

We may use or link to third-party platforms (e.g., course hosting, meetings, payments, analytics, advertising). We are not responsible for third-party content, terms, or policies. Where disclosed, we may earn affiliate commissions; this does not influence our content or recommendations.

9) Testimonials & Reviews

Testimonials reflect the opinions or experiences of individual users and do not guarantee similar outcomes. Any material connections (e.g., complimentary access) will be disclosed where required.

10) Copyright Complaints (DMCA)

If you believe content infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with: (a) your contact info; (b) identification of the copyrighted work; (c) the URL/location of the allegedly infringing material; (d) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; and (e) your physical or electronic signature. We may remove content in our discretion.

11) Electronic Communications; SMS/Email Marketing

By providing an email address or phone number, you consent to receive transactional and (where permitted) promotional emails and/or SMS messages from us or our providers. Message/data rates may apply; message frequency varies. You can opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link and of SMS by replying STOP (HELP for help). Opting out may not affect essential transactional messages.

12) No Warranties

THE SERVICES AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

13) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOST PROFITS; LOST DATA; BUSINESS INTERRUPTION; OR COSTS OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS/SERVICES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICES—EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT.

Certain jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or liability; in such cases, these limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.

14) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Jamil Academy, our owners, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or related to: (a) your use of the Services; (b) your breach of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any law or third-party rights.

15) Compliance; Fair Housing; Advertising

We support Equal Housing Opportunity. Any brokerage/firm identification shown on the Services is provided for compliance clarity and does not convert the Services into brokerage activity or a solicitation for agency representation.

16) Governing Law; Venue; Dispute Resolution; Class Waiver

  • Governing law & venue. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflicts principles. Exclusive venue for any permitted court proceedings shall be in the state or federal courts located in Loudoun County, Virginia.
  • Informal resolution. Before filing a claim, you agree to email [email protected] and attempt to resolve the dispute informally within 30 days.
  • Arbitration. Except for claims eligible for small-claims court or for equitable relief (e.g., IP infringement), any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis under the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). The seat/venue of arbitration shall be Loudoun County, Virginia, and the proceedings may be conducted remotely by video where appropriate. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction.
  • Class/representative waiver. You and we agree that claims will be brought only in your or our individual capacity and not as a class, collective, private attorney general, or representative action.
  • Time limit. Any claim must be filed within one (1) year after the claim accrues, or it is permanently barred.

17) Suspension; Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or misuse of the Services. You may stop using the Services at any time. Sections that by nature survive (including IP, license restrictions, disclaimers, limitations, indemnity, dispute resolution) will survive termination.

18) Changes to Services or Terms

We may update the Services and these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

19) Miscellaneous

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with any product-specific terms displayed at checkout and our Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement regarding the Services and supersede all prior discussions.
  • Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, sale, or reorganization.
  • Severability; waiver. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
  • Force majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures due to events beyond our reasonable control.
  • Notices. We may provide notices via the Services, email, or to your account. You may provide notices to [email protected].
  • Headings. Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
