JB RE Group, LLC d/b/a Jamil Academy (“Jamil Academy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit our websites, purchase our products, or interact with our content and communications (the “Services”).

By using the Services, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2) Scope

This Policy applies to information we collect through the Services that we control. It does not apply to third-party sites/services we do not control (e.g., external tools, ad platforms, checkout providers); review their policies separately.

3) Information We Collect

  • Information you provide: name, email, phone, billing details (processed by payment processors; we do not store full card numbers), shipping/mailing address, account credentials, survey responses, support requests, community posts, recordings from live calls if you participate, and any content you upload.
  • Automatically collected: device identifiers, IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, referring/exit pages, timestamps, approximate location (from IP), and online activity data collected via cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies.
  • Inferences: we may generate inferences about your preferences or interests (e.g., which topics you engage with) to personalize the Services.
  • From third parties: payment processors, email/CRM providers, analytics and advertising partners (e.g., Meta, Google), affiliates/referrers, and social platforms you connect or interact with.

4) Cookies, Pixels & Similar Technologies

We and our partners use first- and third-party cookies, pixels, tags, and SDKs for: (i) functionality (e.g., login, cart), (ii) analytics (usage, performance), (iii) personalization, and (iv) advertising/retargeting. You can control cookies in your browser settings and, where offered, through our cookie banner/preferences tool. Disabling some cookies may affect site functionality.

Manage ad preferences with third parties directly (examples): Google Ads/Analytics, Meta Ads. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required by law.

  • Send transactional messages (receipts, access instructions, service notices)
  • Send marketing communications where permitted and consistent with your preferences

6) How We Share Information

  • Service providers / processors: hosting, course platforms, payment processing, email/CRM, analytics, advertising, customer support. They are contractually required to protect personal information and use it only per our instructions.
  • Advertising & analytics partners: to measure performance, personalize content, and (where permitted) for interest-based advertising.
  • Affiliates & business transfers: in connection with a reorganization, merger, sale, or similar corporate transaction.
  • Legal & safety: to comply with law, legal process, or governmental requests; to enforce our Terms; to protect the rights, property, or safety of Jamil Academy, our users, or the public.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some U.S. state laws define “sale” or “sharing” to include disclosures for targeted advertising or certain analytics—our use of ad/analytics tools may constitute “sale” or “sharing” under those laws. 7) Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type, product, and legal requirements. When no longer needed, we delete or de-identify information where reasonably practicable.

8) Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9) Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or 16 where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided information, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.

10) International Users & Data Transfers

If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other countries with different data protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) for cross-border transfers.

11) Your Privacy Choices & Rights

Email & SMS marketing: unsubscribe using the link in our emails or reply STOP to SMS (HELP for help). We may still send essential transactional messages.

Cookies & targeted ads: manage in your browser and through our cookie banner/preferences tool (where available). You may also use platform tools (e.g., Google Ads Settings; Meta Ad Preferences). We honor GPC signals where required.

U.S. State Privacy Rights (e.g., CA, VA, CO, CT, UT)

Depending on your state, you may have rights to: (i) know/access and obtain a portable copy of personal information; (ii) delete personal information; (iii) correct inaccuracies; (iv) opt out of the “sale,” “sharing,” or use of personal information for targeted advertising or certain profiling; and (v) appeal our decision regarding a rights request.

  • How to exercise: email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy Request” and describe your request. We will verify your identity as required by law.
  • Opt-out of sale/sharing/targeted ads: email us or use any “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” / “Opt Out of Targeted Ads” mechanisms we provide (including GPC where applicable).
  • Appeal: if we deny your request, reply to our decision email with “Appeal” in the subject; we will review and respond within the time required by law.
  • Non-discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

California Notice at Collection & Other Disclosures

Categories collected (past 12 months): identifiers (name, email, IP), commercial information (orders), internet/electronic activity (usage, logs), geolocation (approximate), professional/education info (if provided), inferences; we do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information for the Services.

Purposes: as described in Section 5 above. Retention: as described in Section 7.

Sale/Sharing: our use of ad/analytics tools may be deemed a “sale” or “sharing” under the CPRA; you can opt out as described above.

Shine the Light: California residents may request information about certain disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing. Submit requests to [email protected].

Nevada Residents

You may opt out of the sale of “covered information” by emailing [email protected] with “Nevada Opt-Out” in the subject line.

EEA/UK (GDPR) Disclosures

Legal bases: consent (e.g., marketing, cookies), contract (to provide the Services you request), legitimate interests (to improve Services, prevent fraud, secure systems, personalize content), and legal obligations.

Rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, and withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent). You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Contact us at [email protected] to exercise rights.

12) “Do Not Track”

Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” signals. There is no industry consensus on how to respond; we do not currently respond to DNT, but we honor GPC signals where required.

13) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest changes. Material changes will be posted here (and we will notify you if required by law). Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
